Local Writers Reading

Boulder author and journalist Christine M. Tracy is launching a monthly reading night at the newly expanded Inkberry Books in Cottonwood Square. Three local writers will read from a variety of genres followed by a lively discussion. Nibbles and wine served too.

Christine M. Tracy is a writer, journalist, rhetorician, and Teilhardian scholar. Inspired by Teilhard's 'noosphere,' Tracy coined the  term "newsphere" and wrote The Newsphere:

Sally Bell

A retired newspaper reporter with major newspapers in Dallas and St. Louis, Sally still writes occasionally for the Boulder Reporting Lab because she misses journalism now and again. In the main, though, she'd rather spend her time sleeping late, hiking, and going out to lunch with friends.

Lisa Jones

Lisa Jones teaches creative writing online and leads nature and writing retreats for women all over Colorado. Her writing has appeared in the New York Times Magazine and has been read on National Public Radio. An article she wrote for Smithsonian Magazine on Northern Arapahoe traditional healer and horse trainer Stanford Addison led to BROKEN: A LOVE STORY, her memoir about her adventures on the Wind River Indian Reservation. She'll

be reading from her novel in progress, THE BOOK OF ASTRID and you can find her at lisajonesteaches.com
