personalities - the People-Pleaser, Distractor, Competitor, or Rager - literally take us over, run our lives, and deplete our bodies. Through dozens of real-life anecdotes, HIJACKED reveals what Parts are and why they hijack us. Readers are also introduced to the basic principles of Parts Work, born from Dr. Richard C. About Me. Briefly.

In 2022, after a three-decade career in various marketing and business strategy positions, Scott Doniger pivoted to his lifelong calling to help people better navigate how they manage stress, anxiety, and trauma. Scott's Chronic Stress Counseling and Life Stage
Coaching practice, based in Boulder, Colorado, guides people (of any age, race, gender, or sexual orientation) stuck in chronic stress and

unresolved physical illness to find a smoother way to live. Scott's approach to mental health support combines Parts Work, Components Based Psychotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and a host of other mindfulness and somatic modalities. He conducts discussion sessions and workshops to many corporate, educational, and wellness organizations.

Scott lives in Niwot, just north of Boulder, Colorado. He published his first book, Watcher, in 2023. He is an active road cyclist, hiker, and teacher and mentor to students at The University of Colorado at Boulder. Learn more at www.scottdoniger.com.
