ABOUT



Carliann Jean has always loved reading, writing, and throwing herself into anything creative. She has a passion for helping those impacted by trauma and mental health issues, and in general, she loves to build deep, healing connections. While Carliann adores her current work as a licensed clinical social worker in private practice, she wants to fuse her mental health specialization with one of her favorite things: fiction stories. 


She currently writes fantasy romance that focuses on mental health, trauma, and darker themes. Her goal is multi-purposed. Carliann wants to continue aiding those who have experienced trauma and mental health issues through the art of storytelling. She also wants to bring readers the joy, laughter, tears, and many other feelings experienced from immersing yourself in a character's life. 


When Carliann is not writing, she thoroughly enjoys spending time with her husband and pet children, reading more books than she has room for, spending time outdoors, traveling and exploring, stress baking with music, and laughing with her loved ones. She’\'s an Illinois native who felt drawn to the West. If you can't find her cuddled up with her feisty two cats and excitable pup, you'll see her hiking in the mountains or at one of the local shops with a new treat and shaken espresso.
