Lady Mondegreen, D. presents its third monthly comedy show "The Ants are my Friends" at Inkberry Books with host Philip Ogren and featured comedians BillyJo Gillispie, Linus Leas, and Jenn Yee. This event will be indoors. Please come share laughter with us as we perform original stand-up comedy.

Linus Leas

Linus Leas got his start doing comedy when he was living abroad in Asia. Along with his experiences of what it means to be an Asian American in America, and abroad, he provides a unique take on the world, dating, and just trying your best.

BillyJo Gillispie

BillyJo Gillispie - Based in Boulder, CO, Billie Jo Gillispie is an out and proud Marine veteran who has been bringing high energy and a unique perspective to the stage for 10 years. Her hilarity has kept the crowds laughing at the adventures of farm life, the challenges of military service, and veteran life as a woman. Her festival appearances include Jokechella (1, 2, & 3), The Mutiny Radio Comedy Festival 2020, was in the top 101 of the 2020 World Series of Comedy, as well as performing at the NYC Underground Comedy Festival. She's opened for comedic all-stars such as Shane Torres, Myq Kaplan, Ben Roy, and Adam Cayton Holland.

Jenn Yee

Jenn Yee is a writer, artist, educator, comedian, and mother. She has performed at Denver's Rise Comedy, and as a featured storyteller at Story Collective Boulder and Boulder's annual Listen To Your Mother Show. She writes from the perspective of a born-and-raised city gal living next to a cattle ranch; a Chinese person living in a dumpling desert; and theater kid hiding in a business person’s body. Host Philip Ogren
